DRIVERS and pedestrians alike will face diversions when a road will be closed for further works.
Tanners Lane will be closed from June 18 for two weeks for work carried out by BT to fit new cables.
The road closure will apply to eastbound traffic from Winwick Road to its junction with Dallam Lane and the northern footpath will be closed from its junction with Dallam Lane to Marson Street.
The alternative route for traffic will be via Dallam Lane, Buckley Street and Winwick Road.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be via Tanners Lane southern footpath.
