The suspect was arrested on Cabul Close
A MAN suspected of brandishing an air rifle in public has been charged.
The 42-year-old was arrested yesterday, Tuesday, on Cabul Close following reports a man had been spotted using the gun in the street.
The suspect was detained and taken into custody for questioning.
He has since been charged with possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of a bladed article and criminal damage.
Police say no one was harmed during the incident.
