AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after firefighters spent two hours tackling a blaze at an Orford garage last night.
Several fire crews rushed to the scene on Windermere Avenue at around 6pm yesterday, May 24.
Firefighters used water jets and a large fan to put out the flames and stop the blaze from spreading to the neighbouring garages.
Neighbour Liam McCluskey saw firefighters arrive and said they spent three hours tackling the flames and making the garages safe.
He said: "The fire was massive and I heard this big bang just after it started."
No casualties were reported but Cheshire Fire has launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
