A THREE-year-old boy has been hospitalised with a suspected broken leg after being hit by a bus in the town centre.
Police have appealed for information about the incident, which saw the boy struck by a bus at the stop outside the Looking Glass pub on Scotland Road.
He was taken to Warrington Hospital with a suspected broken leg after the collision, which occurred at around 11.55am yesterday.
Investigating officer PC Robin Fisher said: “Scotland Road is a busy road in the centre of Warrington and as part of my investigation I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and believes that they may have any information in relation to the incident.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a woman who was seen near to the bus at the time of the incident and is believed to have witnessed the collision.”
