A MOTORCYCLIST continues to fight for his life in hospital following a serious crash in Glazebrook last week.
The 18-year-old victim from Wigan - named locally as Callum Evans - was airlifted to hospital shortly after the collision on Thursday.
It is understood the teen is being treated at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Emergency services were called to Glazebrook Lane at 8.20am following the collision involving a car and a motorbike near to All Creatures Veterinary Centre.
The area between A57 Liverpool Road and Bank Street remained closed for a number of hours while investigations were carried out into the cause of the crash.
