FEARNHEAD Cross Centre is set for a ‘much-needed’ refurbishment.
The Insall Lane centre has benefitted from improved access for people with disabilities, new automatic doors and improved toilets, and proposals for a kitchen renovation and enhanced reception area are being considered.
A spokesperson from Warrington Borough Council said the work would make the space ‘more user friendly and fit for purpose’.
They added: “We have been working with centre users to give Fearnhead Cross Centre a much-needed facelift and to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
“We are working very closely with the user group committee and the parish council.”
