Warning issued following spate of burglaries in south of Warrington
A SPATE of burglaries has been reported in the south of Warrington.
Cheshire Police have issued a warning to residents after five properties were broken into yesterday, Wednesday.
Pepper Street in Appleton Thorn, The Drive in Lymm, Stockport Road in Thelwall, Foxley Close in Lymm and Meredith Avenue in Grappenhall were all targeted during the day and early evening.
"There has been an increase in burglaries in south Warrington.
"Breaks are occurring in the early evening in the Lymm, Appleton and Stockton Heath areas.
"To help prevent further incidents please ensure you have timers on lights, and report any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in your area by contacting us on 101."
