THE race for honours in the Warrington Junior Bowls League is getting tight following Saturday's results.
Joint leaders in Division Two of the advanced league, Ben Morley and Lauren Bush, went head to head with Ben managing to secure a 21-15 victory.
Michael Bishop returned from his holidays in excellent form, gaining two excellent victories which have moved him into second place.
Division One of the advanced league produced some upside-down results that have split the title race wide open.
Mike Yule remains top of the intermediate league despite his 21-14 loss to Evie Gray. Rebecca Higgin continued her good recent run of form with two victories.
In the newcomers league, Jack Harper made a winning start to his bowling career, winning 21-17.
