IAN Brown will play Warrington Parr Hall in a special homecoming gig this autumn.
The Lymm resident has been working on his fifth studio album, The World is Yours, with ex-Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and the Happy Mondays' Paul Ryder.
The former Stone Roses frontman will return home on Saturday, October 6, as part of a mammoth 22-date tour.
Tickets, priced £22.50, go on general sale tomorrow, Friday, at 9am from 0871 2200 260 or online at gigsandtours.com Meanwhile, The Editors kick off another season of contemporary rock at the Pyramid & Parr Hall on Tuesday.
After sell-out gigs from the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Travis, the Birmingham band pay a visit to the Parr Hall before heading off to the summer festivals.
