EVENT organisers are hoping the addition of Clarissa Dickson Wright will prove to be the recipe for success at this year's Cheshire Show.
More than 60,000 people - and animals - are expected to descend on Tabley Showground, near Knutsford, on June 19 and 20. Organised by Cheshire Agricultural Society, this year's event theme is connecting people to the countryside'.
One of the most popular attractions is anticipated to be the Cheshire Show's food extravaganza, which also boasts a Roberts Bakery Food Hall to accommodate the county's growing food producers, and the Cheshire Food Village.
Cheshire Food Village is a new venue where visitors can enjoy a meal or a snack in a casual environment while listening to some light entertainment.
The annual show will feature dynamic entertainment from motorcycle display team The Flying Gunners, while accomplished horsewoman and carriage driver Amanda Saville will up the ante with The Chariots of Fire show.
Other highlights include the Cheshire Polo Club, the RAF dog display team, the Band of the Royal Irish Regiment, a vintage agricultural machinery display, a rural crafts showcase and around 600 trade stands.
