NORTH Cheshire Concert Band will be marking the end of a prosperous season with a performance on June 16.
Intended to close the season in style, That's Entertainment will bring all the old favourites including circus and ballet to a packed audience at Pyramid and Parr Hall in Warrington.
The concert will be conducted by Catherine Parsonage, who is currently head of jazz studies at Leeds College of Music, as well as guest conductor of West Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra.
Catherine said: "I hope that we can continue to raise our profile in Warrington and the surrounding areas, attracting larger audiences to attend our concerts regularly.
"The band will continue to pursue its policy of new commissions, working with a variety of composers, conductors and soloists."
The North Cheshire Concert Band is an award-winning wind orchestra that plays a wide range of music including Gershwin, Bernstein, Holst and Strauss.
