ST Rocco's Hospice is appealing for kind-hearted people to give up their spare time to help with the Starlight Walk.
The hospice is searching for people to volunteer as course marshals for the 13-mile women-only walk, which aims to raise cash for the Lockton Lane centre.
Last year's event raised £130,000 but you can play a part in helping to top that.
This year, up to 2,000 women will be taking part in the midnight walk and that means that they need as many helpers as possible to line the route and lead and cheer all those taking part.
For more information on helping out on the night, contact the volunteer's office on 575780.
