A GROUP of youngsters from Warrington-based cycling club North Cheshire Clarion had the 'most amazing experience' in Paris during the final stage of this year's Tour de France.
After cheering on their heroes as they raced along the Champs-Élysées they discovered the Team Sky bus on a Paris side street.
Dressed in their blue and yellow club kit and with an evident love of the sport, Adam, Hannah and Gareth McClorey and Lachlan and Euan Hacker attracted the attention of the Team Sky staff and were permitted into the VIP area.
Not only did they meet Luke Rowe and Juan Antonio Fleca, they were also ecstatic to meet the Maillot Jaune himself; Chris Froome.
Liesl Hacker, club coach, added: "What an amazing experience and inspiration for budding young cyclists."
