A MAN has been charged with dangerous driving after a car went into the window of a shop on Padgate Lane.
As previously reported in the Warrington Guardian, the incident happened at 3.15am last Wednesday.
Police have now confirmed a 23-year-old man, from Warrington, was arrested at the scene.
He was subsequently charged with one count of drink driving and one count of dangerous driving and has been bailed to appear before North Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on September 3.
