POLICE have confirmed a body discovered earlier this week has been formally identified as that of missing woman Nicola Vine.

Officers were called to Antrobus, Northwich, at 5.35pm on Monday following reports of a sudden death.

The body was believed to be that of the 32-year-old but this could not be confirmed until formal identification took place.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and an inquest into Nicola’s death is expected to take place.

Thousands shared an appeal to find Nicola after police released information surrounding her disappearance last weekend.

There has been an outpouring of love and support for her family on social media since the news broke with many paying tribute to the ‘beautiful young lady’.

Paula Vernon said: "Still can't believe it. I will treasure all our memories. Good night sweetheart."

Mandy Cross added: "If what I am reading is true and it is Nicola, I am so sad to hear the news.
