Firefighters rescue Appleton ducklings
FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of two ducklings stuck in Appleton reservoir.
Crews were called to help the RSPCA on Friday at 9.30pm following reports a duck and a number of ducklings were trapped in silt in an overflow near to Park Lane.
Firefighters freed the birds and handed two ducklings over to the RSPCA to be checked over.
