WARRINGTON Borough Transport board is meeting to consider routing the number 31 bus back through Honiton Square on Friday, April 20.
Clr Linda Dirir, (Lab), Penketh, said she had asked for it to be considered because many older people had found it hard to get to Honiton Square without it.
It has also caused problems because when the post office moved from Warrington Road to Honiton Square, people were assured they would still be able to get there using the bus.
Clr Dirir said: "Even if it's only one service an hour, we need to get it back through Honiton Square."
Warrington Borough Transport initially changed the service because of low passenger numbers.
