THE One Stop shop off Park Road in Great Sankey will be the off-license monitored by police in Sankey North during the force wide Operation ArcAngel crime reduction initiative.
Community Safety Officer Steve Dodd told told a recent Sankey North Community Action Meeting that the shop would be supplied with posters about the initiative and that he would be visiting regularly in the summer.
He mentioned the initiative after a resident said she had seen groups of teenagers outside the shop, and that one had smashed a glass on the floor.
Sgt Michelle White also told the meeting one premises out of seven in west Warrington had failed a recent test purchase operation by underage children.
