A MOTORCYCLIST from Warrington has died following a collision on the Isle of Man.
Police on the island have named the man, who died following a crash on the Mountain Road near to the Les Graham memorial, as 60-year-old Charles Hughes from the Warrington area.
He was taken to hospital after the crash at around 11.25am on Sunday but was pronounced dead a short time later.
It is thought that Mr Hughes was on the Isle of Man for this year's TT Races but was not involved in the event at the time of the crash.
No other vehicles were involved.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them on 01624 631212.
