RESIDENTS can have their first look at proposals for Omega South as a public consultation gets underway this week.
The next stage of development near junction 8 of the M62 will include plans for 1,100 new homes along with shops, restaurants and cafes, public house/bar, a care home, and a hotel, as well as 'extensive landscaping and wildlife habitat preservation'.
Following public consultation, plans will be developed into an 'outline planning application' set to be submitted in late summer 2015.
Public exhibitions will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at Great Sankey High School between 4 and 8pm, on Friday at Kingswood Community Hall, Westbrook from 12 to 4pm and on Monday at St Michael’s Parish Hall, Burtonwood from 2.30 to 6.30pm.
Or residents can visit omegaopportunity.com/community/consultation.
The deadline for consultation feedback will be 30 June 2015.
