THE charitable arm of Warrington Housing Association is to host an afternoon tea to celebrate the first anniversary of the Forget me not ward at Warrington Hospital.
LifeTime, which is a network for people over the age of 50 in the town, will be working with singer Bexi Owen and staff at the ward to provide social activities for patients with dementia.
LifeTime coordinator Val Walsh said: "An afternoon tea event will be held on May 19 in celebration of the first anniversary of the opening of the ward.
"Bexi will sing many old time favourite classic songs for patients to help them relive their special times and memories."
