AN APPLETON teenager is in line for two soap awards for her role in Hollyoaks.
Ruby O’Donnell, who plays Peri Lomax in the Channel Four soap, has been shortlisted for 'Best on-screen partnership' alongside Tom Cunningham, who plays Ellis Hollins, and 'Best young performance'.
British Soap Awards bosses have given the annual ceremony a major shake-up this year putting most of the categories in the hands of the judging panel.
The ceremony will take place at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on Saturday and will be hosted by Phillip Schofield.
British Soap Awards this week hope Nikki wins Best Actress, Ruby wins Best Young Performance and Jeremy wins Villain of the Year.
