A MAN, who was pulled over by officers for allegedly using his mobile phone while driving, has since been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing.
A total of £220 in cash and a quantity of drugs were seized following his arrest on Callands Road on Thursday afternoon.
The man, who was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply, has been remanded on police bail pending further enquiries.
PC Chris Orme said: "Cheshire Police will continue to deny criminals the use of the road and we are relentless in our pursuit of drug dealers operating in our communities."
