A MAN in his 70s had to be cut free from his car after an accident on Hallfields Road in Orford last night.
Witnesses said the vehicle was on its side following the incident at 7.25pm.
Firefighters removed the roof of the car to free the man before he was handed over to paramedics and taken to Aintree Hospital.
His condition is not yet known.
A North West Ambulance spokesman confirmed two other people also suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash and were taken to Warrington Hospital.
