A SUPPORT service for disabled children and young people is set to be rolled out in the town.
Warrington Borough Council has appointed home care specialist Community Life Choices (CLC) to provide support for those with complex medical conditions, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour.
Alan Frew, managing director, said: “CLC has a proven track record of providing reliable, accountable and professional care services for local authorities across the country and our appointment by Warrington Borough Council builds on that reputation.
“The contract follows a rigorous application and assessment process, including various presentations and site visits, in line with the local authorities due diligence procedures and we are delighted to have been successful and look forward to supporting young people and their families in Warrington with immediate effect.”
As well as providing personal care and support, the team will also give families short breaks away from their caring roles.
