A HUSBAND accused of murdering his wife in Culcheth has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Andrew Munro, aged 51, of Chiltern Road, Culcheth, will now face a trial later this year after denying the murder of Clare Munro, aged 47, at their home.
He also denied a second count of attempted murder of another victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, at Liverpool Crown Court today, Monday.
The court heard how a provisional trial beginning on April 13 could be pushed back to June as medical reports still need to be obtained.
Judge David Aubrey, QC, remanded Munro in custody.
The mum-of-three, who worked as a childminder, died after being found with serious injuries on November 2.
