THE fate of an 'illegal' pub conservatory at the King's Head is set to be decided on Wednesday night.
Warrington Borough Council will decide whether to grant retrospective planning permission for the rear conservatory at the pub on Winwick Street.
It was erected by owner Andrew Fannon but he did not seek permission from the council first, claiming to not know it was necessary.
The Town Hall branded the development to what is a Grade II listed building 'illegal'.
But Mr Fannon has applied for a 12 month period for the conservatory to remain in place while a permanent solution is decided.
The application will be discussed by the council's planning committee on Wednesday.
The public meeting starts at 6.30pm.
