MRS Gladys Spiers, wife of the late Mr Gordon Spiers, died on September 8, aged 87.
Mrs Spiers, from Ryfields Village in Orford, lived in the Warrington area all her life.
She was employed for many years as an auxiliary nurse at Warrington Hospital, Lovely Lane.
Mrs Spiers enjoyed a game of bingo, word searches, true life crime stories and family holidays abroad, especially to Malta.
She leaves two daughters, a son, twelve grandchildren, fifteen greatgrandchildren, a great-greatgrandchild and two brothers.
She was predeceased by a son.
A service was held on September 17 at St Margaret’s Church, in Orford, followed by cremation at Walton Lea Crematorium.
Canon Boyd officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
