A CHARITY single marking the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War will be raising cash for the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace.
Musicians from the folk world have joined forces for the special Armistice Pals recording of the classic anti-war song 'Where have all the flowers gone'.
The download version and CD is now available for £2.50 with all proceeds split between four charities including the Foundation for Peace.
Nick Taylor, Chief Executive of the Foundation for Peace said: “At the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of the eleventh month, 100 years ago World War One came to an end but violent conflict has continued and our world continues to face many challenges of war and terrorism.
“Where have all the flowers gone is a classic anti-war song and the Armistice Pals community have evoked the great spirit of the Lancashire Pals that played such a key role in keeping us safe."
