LIVE WIRE, Warrington’s Neighbourhood & Wellbeing Community Interest Company was established in May 2012 to provide leisure, library and lifestyle services within Warrington.

LiveWire’s services are key to addressing health inequalities in the town on a neighbourhood basis and its vision is to inspire and support the residents of Warrington to be the healthiest, most active and happiest in the North West. Its flagship facility, Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, has enable a huge increase in physical activity participation, particularly from groups with lower than average levels of participation.
LiveWire’s close work with partners creates additional impact and one example is their success in using sport as a hook into literacy and learning through reading initiatives such as TRY Reading, a project that celebrated the Rugby League Wold Cup and was supported by the Warrington Wolves Foundation.
