A SPORTS club in Grappenhall has taken delivery of a new defibrillator that could help save lives.
The Chairman of Grappenhall Sports Football Club, Paul Finnen, knew the family of Ciaran Geddes, who died while playing football in Locking Stumps.
He was determined that Grappenhall Sports Club would try to buy a defibrillator for the Club House, to make sure that this tragedy would not happen.
Warrington Masons gave £500 to the cause while other organisations helped the club to buy the defib included Cheshire Football League, Lymm Parish Council, Stockton Heath Lions, and the club itself.
