THE corridors of Penketh High School were alive with the sound of music as pupils prepared for their final concert of the academic year.
The Summer Soiree saw more than 120 pupils involved in the evening including a gospel choir, string group, wind band, guitar groups, African drumming and soloists.
On the night, Penketh High were joined by special guests Penketh Primary choir and wind band with the concert marking a succesful year for the department with highlights including performing on the pitch at the Rugby League World Cup Final at Old Trafford, a choir tour to Disneyland Paris and recording a charity single.
