FORMER Warrington Wolves half back Lee Briers is joining an eight strong team walking from Lands End to John OメGroats.

He will join others including Paul Sculthorpe, Tommy Martyn and former Premier League referee Mark Halsey on the walk next month to raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation.

The foundation was set up in the name of the former St Helens legend who lost his battle with cancer in November.

The eight will walk 24 hours a day from May 5 to 16, stopping at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on May 9 as the Wolves take on the Catalans Dragons.
