SHOPPERS dug deep to help raise money for an international charity appeal.
The Christian Aid Warrington Group collected money for the ongoing Syrian Crisis Appeal at the Winwick Road Tesco store on Friday.
March marked the third year of the conflict in the country.
Ruth Earnshaw, from Christian Aid Warrington Group, said: “Our partners have been providing essentials such as food, warm blankets, fuel for cooking, hygiene and sanitation kits, water containers and infant kits, as well as psychological support for those who are suffering as a result of the conflict.
“Thank you again for your generosity, this will enabled our partners to continue to provide support to communities in desperate need.”
The collection raised £414.60.
