MOTORISTS face temporary traffic lights along a busy road in town as resurfacing works get under way.
The works to Manchester Road in Fairfield will start on Monday from the junctions near Morley Street and Helsby Street.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place as the work goes on from 9.15am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
Side roads in the works area will be closed at their junctions with Manchester Road during the resurfacing and diversions will be in place.
Salisbury Street and Robson Grove will be kept open as far as possible, but access will not be possible when work is taking place across their junctions with Manchester Road.
As part of the work bus stops at St Elphin’s Park and Helsby Street will be upgraded with raised kerbs and will be closed when work on the stops is taking place.
Details will be posted on bus stops and on the Network Warrington website.
