THREE teenagers have been arrested after a Transit van was stolen and driven around in a joy ride.
The vehicle was taken from an address on Liverpool Road, Great Sankey, last Thursday.
Police say the stolen van was spotted by its owner the following day, who alerted officers.
It was stopped on Callands Road on Friday when two 16-year-old males and a 17-year-old male were arrested.
A 16-year-old male from Widnes has been charged with taking a vehicle without consent, and driving licence with no licence or insurance.
He is due to appear at Halton Magistrates Court on February 13.
Two other teenagers have been bailed by police until February 24.
