A DRIVER who flipped his car while heading along Birchwood Way was found to be almost three times over the limit.
Manchester man Arthur Opulskis was spotted by a driver, going in the opposite direction, clipping the kerb before the car turned over on December 8 at 9.20pm.
The 28-year-old, who moved to England six years ago, was found with 98mg of alcohol in his system with the legal limit being 35mg.
Halton Magistrates heard on Thursday he told officers he had an argument with his wife before getting into the car.
Opulskis was ordered to complete a 12-month community order, 150 hours unpaid work and has been banned from driving for 26 months.
