POLICE are appealing for information after a late night burglary at a Co-op store in Lymm on New Year’s Day.
Three men used a metal bar to smash through a window of the shop on Chaise Meadow, Heatley Mere, at 3.20am.
CCTV images, just released by police, show the broken window, and the intruders ransacking the cigarette counter.
Officers say the men, who also stole booze, may have escaped in a light coloured Vauxhall Corsa.
They were wearing navy blue or black hooded jackets, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 89 of 31/12/13, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
