CHRISTMAS is less than 24 hours away and, with lots of preparations underway, one Latchford resident had a helping hand from an unexpected guest.
Tortoiseshell cat Tally gave Warrington Guardian copy typist Pat Metcalf a hand with her decorations, helping put the finishing touches on her Christmas tree.
Sadly, a little later the tree had to be taken down due to Tally’s eagerness to help.
Unfortunately, Tally accidently knocked over the tree when she was presumably trying to climb it to make sure that the baubles were in the perfect position.
Have your pets been getting in the festive spirit this year or giving you a run for your money in their Christmas attire?
