Dumb because mindless vandals have a lawful right to trash other people's property in certain areas of town?

I must have missed that one..

No just certain "areas of town" are frequented by "mindless vandals" who do not care about "lawful rights" and I certainly would not be parking my "property" in such a vulnerable part of town! Dumb ****

Irrespective of what car, in any street, it's completely pathetic, some pure low life has gotten away with it again, with the money the WBC Makes from Parking fines, they should invest into some real CCTV then this sort of pathetic, behaviour would be cut down drastically, I just hope the culprit who did this, one day gets it done to them, if they ever can actually evolve to owning a car.

There were vandals in the old box works throwing everything from bricks to metal drainpipes out of the windows. this started from about midnight and lasted until at least 5am. they were goading people into coming after them only to find them threw roof tiles and concrete slabs at them. this was not the only car vandalized, there must have been about 4 with there windows smashed, one of my staff went to move his van, which was parked in-front of the merc at around 3:30 and they threw a brick threw his windscreen as he started the engine, followed by loud cheers so they obviously finding this hilarious. The Cotton mill was vandalized, bricks were thrown through the skylight into the bar area when staff were cleaning up, thankfully customers had left and nobody was hurt. The police were fully aware of the situation and 999 was called twice but they refused to attend as it was a derelict building and they didn't have enough "bobbies to attend" the least the police could have done is rope off the area and make it secure for the public but they didn't even want to do this, why the police helicopter wasn't brought out is beyond me. id have these guys for attempted murder if caught, its been going on for weeks, starting with eggs and bottle tops, small pebbles, whats next if they realise they cant be touched until daylight?? To my amazement, when i went back at 2pm on Sunday, trying to find where they accessed the site, they were still up on the roof.. again police were made aware but the problem was they only had 1 hour of daylight left so looks like they got away again. These lads are making cheshire police look like a joke!

Busy time of the year or not, I'd have thought that mutants throwing heavy objects off a building onto people and vehicles below would have been taken more seriously by the police.
They could easily have ended up with a murder investigation on their hands, they would have found that even more inconvenient!

I doubt cctv would stop this behaviour, in fact I think it's part of the problem. Police leave traffic control to the cameras on the roads and antisocial behaviour to cameras on the roof tops. Stick a picture in the WG of people you want to speak to..much easier than paying for more bobbies or asking the ones you have to leave the station from time to time

From memory the building for a time was a Cooperative Wholesale Society Print works, possibly printing packaging, including bags and boxes.

Wonder if the police would have reacted if it was closer to the council chamber and someone was asking a question of the said vandals?

As MrBenggo says little or no effort is being directed at curbng this town of its low life and the equally lower life on which it is dependent whilst posing as fine upstanding citizens. Until those responsible are really serious about dealing with these people instead of poncing around but never touching them Warrington people will be the loosers.

Where in this report does it say the police did not attend? I saw this car the morning it happened and there were police still on scene MrBenggo.

i was at the scene whilst it was happening and the police were on Rylands street refusing to come up and deal with the situation. Twice they were called via 999.
