PADGATE: MARIE Curie Cancer Care needs help from volunteers in the area to take part in the charity’s Christmas collection.
Eleanor Bate, from Padgate, is donating two hours of her time to collect money.
She said: “I’m collecting so I can help to give a terminally ill person and their family the chance to make some important memories of their last Christmas.”
Marie Curie Cancer Care holds collections during December each year to help raise funds to provide one-to-one nursing care for terminally ill people in their own homes.
