A CROFT councillor has invited senior council officers to join him on a drive down Mustard Lane.
Clr Chris Vobe (LAB) wants them to see for themselves the defects on the road after numerous complaints from residents.
He said: “I am committed to making sure that roads in Croft which are worst-affected by pot holes are given adequate attention.
“That is why I have invited senior council officers to join me on a drive down Mustard Lane. The challenge will be for them to tell me whether they think it’s good enough for people in the village.”
Some repair works have already been carried out in the Mustard Lane area.
But Clr Vobe added: “These have been ‘patch up’ jobs as opposed to a complete resurfacing.
“That is what I want to see done, and I will continue to agitate at the Town Hall for funding to be allocated.”
