Kerry Katona favours Iceland finger food for wedding

Warrington Guardian: Kerry Katona wants Iceland to cater for her wedding. Kerry Katona wants Iceland to cater for her wedding.

Kerry Katona has revealed she wants Iceland to do the catering for her third wedding, and David Gest to lead the sermon.

The 33-year-old reality star - who is pregnant with her fifth child - was famously dropped as the face of supermarket chain Iceland over drug allegations.

Kerry, who is set to marry George Kay in August next year after she has given birth, told OK! Magazine: " I don't like posh food so I'm going to ask Iceland to do finger food. They do amazing fish, chips and peas."

But while the singer might want simple food, she is planning a star-studded bash.

"The Big Reunion lot will be there and Blue will sing as well as Kevin Simm from Liberty X," she revealed "I'm going to have six bridesmaids, - Liz [McClarnon, her Atomic Kitten bandmate], my best mate Karen, Danielle Brown and my three girls," she added.

"Max (her son) will give me away. I want a big wedding."

Kerry is mum to Molly, 12 and Lilly, 10, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, six, and Max, five, from her second marriage to Mark Croft.

And she is determined to make a success of her third marriage.

She said: "People can slag me off about it but I have faith. My divorces could have broken me and I could've ended up being a sad old lonely spinster with 50 cats, but I'm still a firm believer in marriage. It can work if you find the right person.

"I was young and foolish before but I've got no regrets - I have four great kids, stuff happens and you move on."

Haters gonna hate! Old-codger, keep making remarks in the local press and doing whatever else you do and no doubt you'll earn enough money to have a £400,000 tax bill...or not. Love this girl's tenacity and when you consider how she started off in life she's done really well., she made a bad decision about the people she entrusted to manage her financial affairs that doesn't make her a bad person. How much money has she generated for the hmrc if you consider record sales, concert tickets, DVDs, newspaper and magazine sales, tv advertising, telephone voting.....more than everyone else on here combined I'll wager.

Really? It sounds to me like she made an off the cuff remark regarding the catering at her wedding and the press put a spin on it to create a more interesting story. Probably unsurprising that she would joke about the store considering the comments that were made about her during the licence payer funded tv show/advertising campaign for Iceland. I got the impression that the owner of the chain genuinely liked Kerry and thought that she represented the brand well until she had her troubles. I look forward to her getting back on her feet and picking up her relationship with Iceland. Good luck to her. Give me a thumbs down if you agree!

As for relationships 33 and to be married for the 3rd time, yeh well done Kerry Warrington is proud of you! Lets face it PageA if this had been anyone else from Warrington who was not a z list celeb you would be calling them a coke head. Lets not forget the reason she lost the contract with Iceland in the first place. Maybe Tulisa will be on the invitation list that way they can both powder their noses in the toilets!

Well as my name states, Grumpy Parent, at least my kids came from the same "parents" and not a batch of different parents! No doubt after she has spent the money from the, inevitable OK magazine exclusives, that have already probably been agreed has been spent, along will come divorce no 3 and bankruptcy no 3 and you guessed it another OK magazine exclusive about Kerry rebuilding her life yet again. Her parents must be so proud that's if she actually knows who her parents actually are. Great role models I'm sure!

Actually, you horrible specimen, her formative years weren't as safe as your own children's . She was a child in care who had four sets of parents and attended 8 different schools. Can you imagine having the council as your parents? They do the best job they can but an organisation that bans lollipop men from giving high fives probably aren't the best at giving out cuddles when you've scrapped your knee or lost your first tooth. Her resilience is outstanding and she has personal qualities much admired by many British people, including all of those who voted for her to win I'm a celebrity. I hope your children have the resourcefulness to better themselves should adversity or tragedy befall your family. If you and your wife crash the merc and die over the Christmas period...who gets the kids? Is that written down or do you just presume that will be taken care of? Will it be plain sailing for them or would you expect a few personality traits to surface?

I thought you were uneducated new-money but now I see you're just a fantasist. I don't need to read my words..I wrote them. You need to lift your perception filter and broaden your outlook. Children in the care system don't come out unscathed. To think that one could just shrug it off and say "well that was bad, I'm going to live a perfectly normal life now as if grumpy parent was my dad" ...is ridiculous. 1% of children in this country are in the care system...50% of children held in youth offending institutions come from a care background. If the chips (and peas) were down...I'd have one Kerry on my team rather than 1,000 of you. Too many opinions..not enough knowledge

We all look forward to her getting back on her feet maybe then she will stop having so many kids! Still Grumpy[/p]
I'm a big fan of people having kids. That way the ratio us:you gets bigger[/p]
Still Grumpy[/p]
Will it be plain sailing for them or would you expect a few personality traits to surface?[/p]
PageA read your own comment above yes actually read it. As she probably had such a rotten childhood you would think she would endeavour to ensure her own children do not suffer the same fate ie so many different fathers in their life. Earning a million a year but compelled to spend a million and half a year. Snorting coke like its going out of fashion, and low and behold selling her tragic (boring) stories to OK magazine so that her kids can see all her dirty laundry. Yes PageA a great role model with great personal qualities. Oh and PageA a Merc no thanks far too Lidl for my liking! Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Miley Cyrus, Kerry Katona...as far as I know none of them signed a contract to become 'international recording artist and Role Model'. You should be the role model for your own children. Pop stars and celebs are just that, that's all. As for her own children, I'm sure they can be very proud of what their mother achieved in life especially when they consider the start she had in life.

PageA once again standing up for the low lifes who deliberately destroy their good fortune, and criticising all the rich or successful people who haven't completely messed up their own lives. But of course according to PageA it will be somebody elses fault, blame everybody else in the world except yourself.
I think the list of names to compare her with are also a tiny little bit out of her league.

Will there be drinks at the wedding or just coke?

i know plenty of people that came from broken homes and bad social services care and went on to have amazing families, just because you come from a broken household doesn't make you special.

Not really poppet. Kerry Katona was being criticised for being a bad role model. I was just pointing out that..that's not her job. I don't think I've criticised any rich or successful people. I'm not blaming everyone else in the world for anything just stating that some people have different experiences is all. God bless

I'm confused by what you mean by 'shouldn't be allowed'. It's very common for people to be declared bankrupt twice, following the restrictions placed upon them the first time I don't know what you would suggest to prevent it. I think it's safe to say that she has probably contributed more to her majesty's coffers in quite a short period of time than you have in your lifetime. She seems to be upbeat and confident and I'm glad to see that. I'm not talking about broken homes I'm talking about growing up in care. I doubt that you know 'plenty' of people who have experienced this. It's not about being special

What a short memory you seem to have. During the bus strike everybody was to blame except the drivers. You accused the Swiss of being involved in Genocide and resented the fact that I have been successful in my career move there, now you support somebody who decided to spend all her money on drugs and parties instead of first paying back the debts she had to people who also need this money to survive. If she's turned her life around then good for her but somebody who was highly paid for being in the public through being an idol for many teenagers is of course a role model, and she abused that to the limit.
As other people have also commented, I'm sure the ones she still owes money to are very happy that she's splashing out on a big wedding, what a good lesson for her kids.

Ha ha! What's up Stu? No pop stars of your own to criticise so you're picking on ours?! Do you have 1 musician from your country who has made an impact anywhere else around the world? Can you name them? Pop stars and rock stars aren't role models Stu, that's why people are interested in them. The world would be rather dull if everyone was from...Switzerland. PageA, Try Andreas Vollenweider and Dieter Meier. If you've never heard of them in your uncultured ways then look them up on wikipedia (the English version of course because I doubt you can read German).
How can you possibly say that Ms.Katona is not a role model when 95% of the people attending their concerts were under 15 years old? Are you saying they are not influenced by these peoples actions?
Indeed the world would be dull if everyone was from Switzerland.
To correct you once again on your jealous misconception about me leaving the UK, I left because they offered me a job after the very large British company I worked for closed and I could not find another job in the UK because around 10,000 others were also looking for the same job.
In the years I worked in the UK I am confident that I paid enough to her majesty financially and otherwise, something I also doubt you have done. I certainly didn't want to claim benefits and sit around whinging that everybody is against me. You are responsible for your own doings and I'm surprised that you reduced the discussion to whether Switzerland has any famous popstars. You're not at your best today are you?
