AN application has been submitted for cash to regenerate Birchwood Forest Park.
Birchwood Town Council has put in a funding request to Wren (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited) for new play and recreation facilities at the site.
The application follows a community consultation. Town councillors also worked on the plans with Warrington Borough Council and park landowners.
A decision is expected by the end of the year.
