COUNCILLORS are set to decide whether to approve plans to create a new base for Broomfields Youth Project.
The planning committee debated permission for a permanent youth centre built at Broomfields Leisure Centre at a meeting last night, Wednesday.
John Harper, from the youth project, said: “Broomfields Youth Project’s aim is to deepen relationships with the young people we are already meeting on a Friday night and enable them to bring positive change into their lives. We believe a permanent centre will help us do this.”
