POLICE need witnesses after a biker and his passenger were rushed to hospital following a collision in Hollins Green.

Officers say the rider - a 57-year-old man - and a 26-year-old woman, who was riding pillion, are in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The incident happened at around 2.50pm on Saturday.

According to police, a grey Lexus was involved in a collision with a black Yamaha bike.

The bike had been travelling along Manchester Road, towards Cadishead.

It was involved in a crash with the Lexus between Warburton Bridge and Glazebrook Lane.

The occupants of the Lexus were uninjured.

Any witnesses can contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 625 of November 30.
