TONIGHT is the night when we crown the winners in the first Warrington Inspiration Awards.

Following a summer packed with entries of the most deserving people from our community, we will be handing our prizes in 11 categories.

The finalists will find out their fate in the awards ceremony which will take place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium from 7.30pm.

Nicola Priest, group editor, will be among the guests.

She said: “This will be a real highlight of our birthday year.

“Everyone shortlisted for an award tonight is a real inspiration and I feel very humbled reading through all the nominations.

“I am as excited as everyone for the awards so I can find out who has won.”

Entertaining the audience will be Stillia, who won our Hotwired music contest earlier in the year, with a live music set after a lavish three course meal at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Among the guests on the night will be GB Olympic handball star Holly Lam-Moores, a group of dancers from Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson’s troupe wll be performing live while Baroness Helen Newlove, victim’s commissioner, will also be in attendance.

Neil Clough, Apprentice star from this year’s show will be giving a talk on the too night.

And Mayor Clr Peter Carey will bring a sense of occasion to proceedings.
