BIRCHWOOD Library plays host to a special visitor today, Thursday.
Tim Quinn, author and editor of the Dandy, Beano and Marvel will be at the library to talk to a select audience of pupils from schools including Birchwood High School.
He will be talking to pupils about how he harnesses his creativity in the comics and he will also help the pupils create their own super hero.
Tim has also written for the Guardian and America’s oldest publication The Saturday Evening Post.
Pupils will get the chance to hear his knowledge of the creative industries and will have the opportunity to take pictures and talk on a one-to-one basis.
