A NEW bus stop on Harpers Road has been criticised by Poulton North Clr Billy Lines-Rowland.
The Labour councillor said: “It has been situated not only facing the wrong way but at the thinnest area of pavement so that a baby buggy can’t even get through.
“It’s no wonder that residents in Longbarn often claim it to be the forgotten area of Poulton North. This botched job is simply not good enough.”
Clr Lines-Rowland said he contacted the council and was told the bus shleter had been installed at an angle to protect pedestrians from being splashed by passing cars.
