SPRING is finally in the air in Penketh as four generations of the same family celebrated the first lambs being born in the area for more than 20 years.
It was a double celebration for the family as mum Kirsty Towell gave birth to her second child Harper five weeks before the lambs arrived.
Kirsty, who is also mum to Tegan, aged six, said: “We have had a few families with kids come to visit the lambs and have a picture with them giving them a cuddle.
“It’s been lovely seeing my family, the community and children sharing the first days of spring watching beautiful Suffolk cross lambs being born within the beautiful land which is left in penketh and we have really enjoyed watching them jumping round the field.”
